Installed an earlier Android beta? Read this first.
The former 1.0.791 preview used a development certificate, so Android cannot install this release-signed build over it. Transfer any app-local work you need to keep, uninstall the earlier PractiPix beta, then install 1.0.841. Future direct builds signed with this same PractiPix certificate can update normally.

01Download
Download the official APK on the Android device
Open the PractiPix Download page on the phone or tablet and choose Android. The expected file is PractiPixMobileAndroidArm64-1.0.841.apk, approximately 121 MB.
If the browser warns that APK files can be harmful, continue only after confirming that the address is the official PractiPix website. The package SHA-256 is 47660c738acd5b7c70d38b8365133f797279081e3dbc6def89ff98e964cde245.
Open the completed download from the browser, or find it in Files > Downloads, then tap the APK. This build requires Android 9 or newer on a supported 64-bit ARM device.

02Allow
Allow installation from the app that opened the APK
When Android blocks the installation, tap Settings. Turn on Allow from this source for the app shown there, usually your browser or Files app.
If the prompt does not open Settings, the common route is Settings > Apps > Special app access > Install unknown apps. Choose the app that opened the APK and enable its source permission.
Return to the APK after changing the setting. Menu names can vary slightly on Samsung, Xiaomi and other Android devices.

Device menus varyIf your manufacturer uses different menu names, search Settings for “Install unknown apps,” then choose only the browser or Files app that opened the PractiPix package.
03Install
Return to the package, install, then close the permission
Return to the APK and tap Install. Android or Google Play Protect may inspect the package before installation completes.
Tap Open when the system installer finishes. Version 1.0.841 is signed with the dedicated PractiPix Android release certificate; keep future direct-download updates signed with this same identity.
For the narrowest security setting, return to Install unknown apps, select the browser or Files app used above, and turn Allow from this source off.
