A license that stays yours
Keep using the version you purchase without a mandatory monthly payment.
One user can activate PractiPix on up to three personal computers.
Minor updates are included; consider a future major upgrade only when its new tools are useful to you.
PractiPix is built around local files, non-destructive work, and interoperable metadata rather than lock-in.
Before you choose
Yes. The Trial unlocks the Pro workflow for 14 days so you can test it with your own cameras, files, catalog, and delivery routine before choosing an edition.
PractiPix returns to the Free edition unless you activate a paid license. Your photographs and accessible edits remain yours; the application does not hold your files hostage behind a subscription.
No mandatory subscription is required. Pro and Premium are perpetual licenses for the version purchased. You can continue using that version for as long as it remains compatible with your system.
A license is for one user and can be activated on up to three personal computers, giving you room for a studio workstation, laptop, and another personal machine.
Maintenance and minor updates for your purchased version are included. A future major version may be a paid upgrade, with credit for an eligible previous purchase where offered.
PractiPix spans macOS, Windows, Linux, Android, and iOS workflows. Current installer availability and individual features vary by platform, hardware, app version, and edition, so the build buttons below show the current store status.
Free keeps essential viewing and adjustment tools, including basic light and colour controls, crop and rotate, HDR and focus-stack merge, pixel-peeper inspection, and JPG, PNG, or BMP export. RAW, batch, local masking, and AI workflows require a higher edition.
Pro adds the professional non-AI workflow: standard RAW support, local masks, batch production, XMP sidecars, culling, stacking, smart folders, SFTP transfer, command palette tools, supported tethered capture, font operations, and advanced export formats.
Premium includes everything in Pro, then adds supported AI editing and batch automation, AI masking and portrait retouching, OCR, virtual copies, premium RAW formats, AI font identification, GalleryOne delivery, and desktop-mobile synchronization.
Pro and Premium include RAW workflow support. Exact camera and format compatibility depends on the operating system, decoding support, and the PractiPix version in use; test critical camera files during the trial.
Supported XMP sidecar workflows help ratings, labels, and other compatible metadata travel between tools without altering original files. Not every proprietary edit instruction can be exchanged between applications.
Supported mobile clients can review, organize, rank, transfer, synchronize, use supported tethered capture, and provide field utilities such as ND filter exposure calculation. Exact mobile capabilities depend on the platform, build, hardware, and edition.
AI-assisted tools are Premium capabilities unless a trial explicitly unlocks them. Some use built-in platform services, while others require a configured provider, compatible hardware, model access, or an internet connection. The visible workflow and your final judgement remain in control.
Yes. Pro and Premium include the two-pane SFTP browser for opening remote folders and transferring between local and remote panes. Connection security, available space, and current platform support should be verified before moving production files.
Premium can connect PractiPix to a WordPress site running GalleryOne, browse remote galleries, export approved images into an existing or new gallery, and manage the current remote collection without rebuilding it as a separate upload set.
The Features page currently maps 416 capabilities across 34 systems. Help searches 328 entries from 44 product guides, including exact commands, availability notes, setup, SFTP, culling, editing, mobile, delivery, and troubleshooting details.
